Description
SN: 2J0017. Made in China by the Jianshe Machine Tool Factory (26) with a 20-inch barrel chambered for 7.62x39mm. This is NOT a commercial Chinese SKS – it is a People’s Liberation Army (PLA) surplus Type 56 carbine that was repackaged to appear as if it were produced as a commercial sporting arm. Overall condition is cosmetically very good but the original factory blued finish has been covered with an unattractive coat of gray parkerizing & the stock has been varnished. Other than that, the gun still has a bright, chrome-lined bore. Comes with a web sling, a cleaning kit in the buttstock & 12-inch folding blade bayonet. AUSTIN LOCATION
