Colt 1860 Army .44 caliber revolver. Serial number 74142. Bore is very good and has cuts in the bottom of the grip for a leather lanyard. We have seen many Army and Navy Colts with this feature, which made sure the soldier would not drop or lose his gun from horseback. Gun has an excellent cylinder scene and all numbers are matching. Action works fine. Gun has no rust, dings or abuse. Finish is a smooth even light gray color. Very decent example of an 1860 Civil War Army Colt.
