Colt Lightning.41 caliber revolver with Republic of Mexico markings with starburst on recoil shield. Etched barrel with 3 1/2 length. Has fine carved Mexican eagle and snake grips. Comes with old litho portraits of General Venustiano Carranza and wife Josephina. Carranza later became president of Mexico. We originally obtained this revolver from a famous collection in Mexico City and the gun and photos came together. We have no documentation on the Carranza association to this revolver but the package came together from the collection. This is Arare RM Lightning with fine pearl grips.
