German Model 1888 8MM Mauser commission rifle. Produced at the Amberg Arsenal in 1899. Matching numbers except for bolt and trigger guard screws. The bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. Good wood. Original rod. It has charger guides and has been converted to S bore .323 bullets. It was given or sold to Turkey during World War I and has a crescent moon on the receiver. Good-very good overall. Not for firing.
