Rare American Duelers by Constable. Excellent Pair of Constable Saw Handle Duelers. These guns were made circa 1835-1840 in our opinion. Constable was in business from 1817 to 1851. The Guns are in excellent condition with the original striped Damascus pattern barrels and original brown finish. The locks and hammers are case hardened and still have a lot of the original case colors. Trigger guards have almost all of the original blue. Wood is excellent. Engraving is excellent and nice and sharp. The case is wonderful and has the Constable label. Accessories are all very nice. Absolutely gorgeous set!
