Description
Special Order Model ’94. Button magazine, full octagon barrel, 26“ length. Bore is excellent. Action works perfectly. Left side of receiver is marked Peru Trust Co. We found Peru Trust Co. in Peru, Indiana. Barrel has approximately 97-98% bright blue. Receiver blue has faded to approximately 25-30% as is often the case on Model 94’s. The receiver metallurgy was different than the barrel. Thus, you find Model 94’s with excellent magazine tube and barrel blue and fading or flaked receiver blue. Stock are excellent with 98-99% original factory varnish. Buttstock has some nice figure overall. This is a fine Model 94 in a desirable special order configuration. Great caliber .38-55! We assume this was a guard gun for Peru Trust Co.
